Putra World Trade Center (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Malaysian Remote Sensing Society (MRSS) and Universiti Putra Malaysia are jointly organising the MRSS 6th International Remote Sensing & GIS Conference and Exhibition on April 28-29, 2010 at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Malaysian Remote Sensing Society (MRSS) was formed in July 1995.  Its overall objective is to support the facilities development of remote sensing and related technologies in the country.  MRSS has embarked on several activities, aimed towards further promoting the use of the technologies, strengthening government-private sector interaction, encouraging more publication of R&D results and keeping members informed of remote sensing activities and development in the country and internationally.

The theme for this coming conference is “Geospatial Solutions for the Future”. We are currently issuing a call for papers related to this theme.

The main objective of this MRSS 2010 conference is to bring together local and international experts in geospatial technologies, both from the government and private sectors to disseminate knowledge and to share their expertise and experiences in present and future applications and development of RS/GIS/GPS.
